Poetry is crafted with generic visual style that can serve as a base for any project. This visual framework is easily extensible and modifiable with few basic parameters as colors and fonts.
Poetry uses normalize.css to render all elements more consistently and in line with modern standards. On top of this it constructs HTML5 valid code for basic visual scaffolding of the web.
Poetry utilises very verbose markup to create low maintenance code that promotes experimentation and combination. It is ideal for project pages, company landing pages and such.
Poetry is based on a very simple but powerful and intuitive grid markup inspired by genial Skeleton. The grid is fully nestable to allow finegrain panel styling. The grid parameters are easily customizable through Less parameters, but the defaults set to 960 grid system should fit the basic needs.
The default typography style in tritone/augmented fourth scale typeset in beautiful and free Lato. All the important variables are easily changed via exported Less variables.
Standard HTML5 form elements are styled by default.
Verbose markup promotes recombination of classes to obtain wanted results. Few utility classes with english names (such as light background, two columns, primary button) can be combined and mixed naturally. Just explore the code of this page!
